I tested Mullvad's servers in New York, the UK, Australia, France, Germany and Singapore, using the OpenVPN protocol. But Mullvad only slowed me down 23% on average when I tested its speeds in April 2022. You can usually expect to lose about half of your regular connection speed when you connect to a VPN.
